Thanks to some investors from the likes of Andreessen Horowitz, Redpoint, Samsung, Intel, Qualcomm, AMD, and others, BlueStacks has been able to grow over the years. It has become the go-to solution for getting Android installed and working a computer, and now version 4 of the program includes a massive performance upgrade. BlueStacks was founded back in 2009 by Jay Vaishnav, Suman Saraf, and Rosen Sharma. Some of these have failed and moved on while others have gained quite the enthusiast following. Getting Android on the PC is something that has been quite popular with programs such as GenyMotion, Android X86, Anbox, Console OS, and Remix OS. Android is such a popular operating system that people have used it on many different types of devices (not just smartphones and tablets).
